(nyc) rare marty solo rock show with math!

hi and hello, everyone!
marty from uncle monsterface will be playing a super duper rare rock show with our new ridiculously radical rock and roll friend math the band!

tuesday, may 29
martysongs
math the band
8-bit betty
at THE KNITTING FACTORY!
in the old office
74 Leonard Street
New York, NY 10013
ALL AGES! $8
doors are at 7pm, show starts PROMPTLY at 7:30

we know it’s a tuesday, but this will be a very special show. marty almost never plays by himself. when he does, it’s elaborate karaoke, all different solo songs that aren’t monsterface songs (but might become them some day). there are still puppets, but it is a very intimate opportunity for something that is both monsterface-y and totally different.

moreover, math is seriously the funnest person on the planet to see perform. you will be dancing because you won’t be able to help yourself. it’s a nice bill, because he does karaokee to his songs, too! and though we’ve only just discovered 8-bit betty, betty is billed as ‘music for the nintendo generation,’ and that is true, and that is awesome.

that very friday, june 1, uncle monsterface will play again in the super big room at the knitting factory opening for our wizard brothers. you should try and come to both shows! they’ll each be totally different and awesomely special, we promise. more about that big show soooon…

okey doke admirals and cadets.

ever your loyal,
uncle monsterface

  1. Dude! That’s awesome! Marty should just leave the rest of the band behind! Though dan buys me drinks… and jimmy teaches me swears…
