Brooklyn, NY/The Internet/The World – The long-awaited premiere of Uncle Monsterface’s Sock Puppet Soap Opera, Sock Puppet Manor arrives on the internet (of all places), Monday, March 28 at the freshly minted sockpuppetmanor.com!

Follow the trials and tribulations of pickle-canning moguls the Lollybottoms as they cope with, conspire against, and marry the upstart pickle-canning entrepreneurs, The Durtlingers. Chases, betrayal, conversations with ghosts, frying pans to heads, evil twins being thrown, amnesia, more evil twins, and more sock puppets, all in one place.

Uncle Monsterface, sock puppet rock band and multimedia extravaganza present their first scripted narrative – Sock Puppet Manor! The first three parts, appearing as 4-5 minute “webisodes” will air bi-weekly begining Monday, March 28, comprising the first Act of a three act saga. In the proud tradition on Monsterface Mondays, episodes 2-3 will air bi-weekly on Mondays (April 11 and April 25) for the next month!

The stars of Sock Puppet Manor were first seen one year ago as the nine newest creations from Marty’s Sock Puppet Portraits (www.martystuff.com). Marty Allen, frontman and quarterback for Monsterface Industries, makes and sells photographs of Sock Puppets for a living (seriously). Made in Brooklyn, sold on the streets of NYC.

His nine newest characters from 2010, the ‘Series 3′ Sock Puppet Portraits are the major cast of Sock Puppet Manor. Demonstrating that magic is real, Sock Puppet Manor has been created by its cast and crew on NO BUDGET, all acting, time, equipment, and post production has been donated.
