Marty’s Sock Puppet Portraits move to Tank in Manhattan, Reception this Thursday

Hello Citizens of Sock Puppet Interest (both general and specific),

Two sock puppet-related events are hurtling towards Manhattan in a sleigh driven by burly, forsaken, and untimely elves…
FIRSTLY:
Did you miss the display of Marty’s newest Sock Puppet Portraits at Brooklyn’s Sputnik? Do you need to see it more? The show is moving to Manhattan! (cue “Movin’ on Up”).

The Tank
354 W 45th St
New York, NY 10036
tanknyc.org

Opening Reception: May 14 at 6:30pm

Come for the Opening reception and stick around for the Tank’s amazing Puppet Series, Puppet Playhouse (or just hang out and have some beers, you don’t have to go to Puppet Playhouse). If you do go to Puppet Playhouse, you should know that Marty doesn’t have any work in it. But you should also know that it’s awesome – puppeteers interpreting modern musicians, this month featuring the Magnetic Fields.

THIS show at the Tank foreshadows ANOTHER SHOW AT THE TANK…
