“(don’t fear the) NINJA” is the first all-new song from Uncle Monsterface in five years. RISE of the LAVA MEN is a conceptual Rock Project (forthcoming full length album, Saturday Morning cartoon show, archaeological dig, and related puppet portraits) telling the tale of the ancient iconic protector’s of Uncle Monsterface’s home-base, Dino-skeleton Island. As Uncle Monsterface unearths records and remnants from the archeological dig that is currently uncovering the tale of the Lava Men, Monsterface Industries will release new songs, artworks and biographies for each of the Lava Men! okay, so, on a monday night about a week ago, dan and marty were at the bar we live next to (a place we’re often wont to be…perhaps a little TOO wont), when our friend abraham the bearded bartender introduced us to a nice young man named ino. it soon came to light that ino also wrote songs, and before we knew it, abraham had witnessed a ‘monsterface industries’-sponsored contract between ino and marty/dan stating that, before 8pm the following day, ino would make a song for us, and we would make a song for him.

today is monday. all of the time, ‘monday’ shares it’s first three letters in common with ‘monsterface’ (and MONKEY!). often this inspires us to post a: MONsterface MONday (ook eek!)
in honor of our tour that starts NEXT WEEK IN BOSTON (june 25 at the middle east!!), here is a video for the new song from THIS IS AN ADVENTURE called GO!, which we’ll be playing at said rock shows!
